74Software is an enterprise software group built from the combination of Axway and SBS, two established platforms serving financial services, manufacturing, public sector and logistics clients across the globe. When the merger completed, the leadership team faced what every integration of this scale demands: turning a transaction on paper into a functioning organisation in practice.

The stakes were high and the complexity was real.

The Work

Nexus was engaged from the outset, not brought in to fix problems after they had formed, but to architect the programme from the beginning. Working directly with the C-suite, we designed and launched the full integration structure across five workstreams: HR, Finance, Procurement, Customer Services, and Professional Services.

We sat at the centre of the programme office throughout, setting up governance, establishing the delivery rhythm, and holding the line between ambition and execution. Every stream was initiated, monitored and controlled with one goal: ensuring the business landed as a single, coherent organisation.

Where We Left Them

A fully integrated operating model across five critical functions, delivered at pace and without the drift that derails most programmes of this scale. Two companies. One business. Built to run.
